    According to sources it has been learned that  number two in the CBI(Praveen Ranjan IPS 1988) is likely to be given the additional charge of Director CBI after retirement of present CBI Chief which is scheduled for tommorow. Last time number two got chance to become interim CBI Chief was during controversial tussle in CBI in 2019 where M Nageshwar Rao appointed as interim CBI Chief.
