Deepak Kedia IPS, has been awarded Best Electoral Practice Award for Security Management by the Election Commission of India.

Deepak Kedia IPS officer Assam- Meghalaya 1999 batch, who is presently posted as IG, NSG, Ministry of Home Affairs Governt of India,has been awarded Best Electoral Practice Award(Special Award category) for Security Management by the Election Commission of India. He has been awarded for effective coordination with CAPF for smooth induction, deployment, and dispatch, thus ensuring peaceful conduct of the General Election of Assam Legislative Assembly 2021.
