In a major development in the power corridors, it has been learned that 33 IPS officers belonging to 2003 batch and various cadre have been empanelled to the rank of IG in the Government of India. However, it is also underlined that ACC while approving the names of 33 IPS officers for IG level empanelment has also rejected 22 names for empanelment. The official order has been issued by the Government of India
