Testing The Patience of IPS Lobby Is It Snowballing To Might vs Mind Game?

IAS officers are enjoying the real charm of power in the power corridors, these kind of one-liners are getting popular in power corridors these days. Reasons do not need hyperbole explanations. IAS officers to a certain extent share closeness with power circles not because of personal equations but because of their work and smart mind that speaks for them. The IAS lobby in this government was more trusted and often put less on the testing floors. Though, administrative necessities require putting some bright IAS officers on tests and these officers pass their tests and deliver desirable results to the present dispensation.  However,  things are not so well with the IPS lobby, the present dispensation tests them at every front which mostly involves their patience, top sources say. DG appointments and central deputation vacancies which have exponentially risen in recent times are some hard looking facts. The current situation is quite dim for senior IPS officers especially those whose patience is being unnecessarily tested by the top brasses. Perhaps, the present dispensation is more fond of "Mind than "Might" but if we go by these lines then holding such connotations might impact the overall bureaucratic architecture. At a crucial juncture where India is rising at the global level and events like G-20 and QUAD are almost about to roll out. The people responsible especially the IPS officers are undergoing conflicting currents in their minds and such testing might give more negative results than positives. "We need a perfect balance of Might and Mind and any conflict in them or within them will affect the overall bureaucratic setup and South Block can't afford such conflicts in upcoming crucial times," top sources say.
