    A week ago, Himachal was crawling and absorbing the shock but managed to turn the tables with crises after a week; However, light rains are still lashing the hilly areas, but most of the situation is under the administration's grip now. Himachal Pradesh Polices's mission mode and Joint operational efforts with NDRF and Indian Air Force. DGP's Atwal's war room had clear priorities and strategy- Communicate, Prepare, and Extract for which HP Police's OSINT strategy hit the nail. The War room optimised District resources and forces led by SPs which provided logistical support on the ground and helped in instant rescue and identification work. Indian Airforce, NDRF, and HP Police jointly organised the Extraction part. Operation Chandratal is one operation that is the major highlight of the whole mission showcasing well-crafted coordination and fusion of IAF, civil society, Police, and Civil Administration. Around 290 people were rescued from rugged terrain. The Communication Preparation and Extraction(CPE) strategy strengthened the coordination and fusion process. Mandi, Kullu, and areas where transport connectivity is at hit by the landslide, the Police ensured that communication remained intact with tourists and people stuck, which helped in moral boosting and providing adequate food and civil supplies through drones while preparing for extraction by providing Civil Administration and Disaster Response forces adequate assistance and support. The Three pillared strategy(CPE) of the Himachal Police not only created a fusion between society and administration but also ensured operational readiness. Indeed, this accelerated the recovery process in Himachal, and within a week, 70 thousand were rescued, and the infrastructure and rebuilding road process at speedy restoration. Though an orange alert is issued for Himachal by the IMD that might slow the recovery pace, most of the situation, as said, is now under control, apart from Parvarti Valley, where according to some reports, the Police is still doing their best to evacuate tourists. In short, the Himachal Police efforts displayed not only regular rescue operations but also displayed a brilliant show of fusion and coordination among the Air Force, civil society, administration, and Police.
