According to major development in the power corridors it has been learned from top sources that Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has declined Jharkhand Government’s proposal to extend incumbent DGP Anurag Gupta’s tenure beyond superannuation. Gupta is scheduled to retire tomorrow. Sources add that last moment rejection has made chances of adhoc appointment at level of DGP in Jharkhand.
