The incumbent Karnataka DGP Alok Mohan IPS:KN: 1987 batch has been given 21 days extension. Mohan was scheduled to retire on 30th April will now remain in office unitl May 21. Sources say that extension ensures compliance with Supreme Court Directive of fixed two year tenure for state police chief.
