In a major relief for senior IPS officer Yogesh Gupta, the Central Administrative Tribunal has directed the Kerala government to issue Vigilance clearance for Gupta's central deputation within five days. The Kerala Government had blocked Gupta's vigilance clearance, obstructing his central deputation prospects, which led him to knock on the doors of CAT. He had been in the crosshairs of the Kerala Government ever since he exposed a corrupt syndicate operating within the government, according to sources.
