In a significant development, it has been learned from top sources that Haryana DGP Shatrujeet Kapoor is likely to be sent on leave after his name surfaces in the suicide case of senior IPS officer Y Puran Kumar. Sources add that the Haryana Government has almost decided to change the DGP and appoint an interim DGP in the state. According to reports, Kapoor has been named by Kumar in his suicide note, leading to serious questions about Kapoor's continuance in the office.
