Sundaraj Pattilingam, an IPS officer from the 2003 Chhattisgarh batch, presently posted as IG, Chhattisgarh Police, has been awarded the prestigious Kendriya Grihmantri Dakshata Padak in the field of Special Operations. He has been spearheading highly intensive special operations against Naxalism in Chhattisgarh, which has been instrumental in significantly weakening the Naxal presence in Chhattisgarh.
