Harender Singh, IPS officer from the AGMUT 2011 batch, presently attached to the Manipur Police, has been repatriated to his parent cadre. He was promoted to the rank this year in January and got repatriated to his parent cadre. Manipur Government earlier requested MHA to nominate SP-level officers from states on the directions of the Supreme Court. Following the repatriation of the remaining UT cadre officer to the cadre, the Manipur Government has requested that the MHA provide the attachment of suitable substitute officers.
