Sadanand Vasant Date, IPS officer, Maharashtra 1990 batch, presently DG NIA, has been prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre. He was recently shortlisted for the post of Maharashtra DGP and is expected to take over from the incumbent, DGP Rashmi Shukla, on 1st January 2026. Official order has been issued by the ACC.
