Rakesh Agarwal, IPS officer, Himachal Pradesh 1994 batch, who is presently posted as Special DG NIA, has been given additional charge of DG NIA, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. The incumbent DG NIA has been repatriated to the parent cadre to take over as Maharashtra DGP.
