According to sources it has been learned that five ADG rank officers are set to get promotion to DG rank. The Telangana Government has believed to have started the process to elevate ADGs to DGP. The officers who are in line for promotion are
1-Intelligence chief Shvadhar Reddy
2- K Srenivsa Reddy, Hyderabad Police Commissioner
3- Apte Vinayak Prabhakar, central deputation to Intelligence Bureau
4- Mrs.Abhilasha Bisht ADG, Police Academy
5-Mrs.Shikha Goel, ADG Cyber Bureau and CID
