The recent visit of the newly appointed CM of Maharashtra is to expand his ministry to accommodate loyalists and create balance in the ministry source says. As per the agreed formula, 45 ministers are to take oath out of which 25 from BJP, 13 from Shinde quota, and 7 independents source say. It will be a difficult task for him to select one from four BJP and one from every 3 MLAs from his quota and one from every 2.25 independent MLAs source says. The 8 ministers of the erstwhile Uddhav's ministry would put pressure on his continuance and seven independent MLAs, if not included in the ministry likely to jump wagon again source says. This difficult situation probably forcing Shinde to postpone the expansion as far as possible at least till the elections of Brihad Mumbai is not taking place because the source says he has been advised by BJP high command to show something and the best is to throw out Shiv Sena from Mumbai corporation or to end the 25 years rule of SS from theirs. BJP wants to set their agenda for 2024 elections because all the seven corporations under Mumbai are having 10 Lok Sabha and 60 assembly seats and control over corporations sets the pattern of elections, if the symbol of SS freezes by Election Commission, Uddhav's group will be on very slippery slope source says
