Fadnavis Is In Touch With Uddhav Confidants?

It’s always said that in politics there is no permanent friend or enemy source says. On 5th October, Uddhav Thackeray was criticising the BJP from the stage. In a party organized to celebrate Navratri by Mrs Neeta Ambani, a very close friend of the wife of Uddhav Thackeray, Mrs Rashmi Thackeray and Fadnavis were talking on the future political scenario of the state source says. The deputy CM of Maharashtra was also invited to the party and informed that Mrs Rashmi Thackeray will also be there, the deputy CM, rather happily agreed to come source says. During the Navratri party, Fadnavis and Mrs Thackeray discussed for about one and half hours source says. Fadnavis requested Mrs Rashmi Thackeray to convince Uddhav Thackeray to join hands with BJP and further added that this will help Uddhav Thackeray's faction in BMC elections also source says. Fadnavis further said that in alliance honour of Aditya Thackeray will be maintained but the faction will have to forgo the claim on the CM seat source says. In reply to a question that what will be the future of Eknath Shinde after the alliance, a source says the deputy CM said Shinde is having MLAs with him which is not with the faction of Uddhav Thackeray and further said it’s their problem and they will take care of him. Probably no assurance was given by Mrs Rashmi to Fadnavis but she promised to discuss the matter with Uddhav Thackeray source says. Meeting ended with the promise to meet again giving hint that doors are open for further negotiations source says.
