Apart from using ideological issues as its key weapon, BJP is planning to expand its weapon arsenal by effectively using the Free Ration initiative. According to top sources, BJP especially the Prime Minister have got the input that their initiative of Free ration is working out well and it also helped to garner votes in some key states and thereby helping BJP in improving its electoral performance, sources say. Now, PM after a brief meeting with key officials and members has said to accelerate the free ration scheme and make it more effective by making this scheme reach the last man in the queue and at the grassroots level so that poor people in the community can get more benefits from it, sources say.
