The controversy on the continuance of Nitish Kumar as CM of Bihar was probably settled by the party but a strong-worded statement of the State President of JD (U) that BJP should not think to replace Kumar before 2025 elections and in coalition government Nitish will be only CM source says. Recently replying to a question Nitish Kumar said that his desire to go to the Upper house is yet to be fulfilled, sources say probably taking from this media jumped to conclusion that he is going to Rajya Sabha. Six vacancies are coming in July, two seats are with JD (U), two with BJP, and one with RJD. One seat is with Sharad Yadav, which is under the scrutiny of a law source says.
