This time Eid’s date was on Monday. And, this Monday is quite significant because it was the last Monday of the Shravan season during which Lord Shiva is revered. This led to a bit of confusion; hence, CM of UP Yogi Adityanath decided to offer prayers in the early morning at Lord Shiva’s temple and thereafter Muslims may perform the rituals for “qurbani” (sacrifice).
