In a surprise move, BJP leadership has deputed one of the most trusted and active leaders Bhupendra Yadav Hyderabad to supervise the local body election at Hyderabad. In the political circle, this is not a very good step for the central leadership to take but the BJP core leadership thinks that winning local elections at Hyderabad will give a chance party to build up a strong base for future elections. Yadav after the Bihar election is in very high spirit and sure to make use of failures of present state government and lethargic approach towards problems, sources say. BJP considers Hyderabad as the gate for the South and the recent win in the by-election also cemented the idea. Sources say the failure of Congress to maintain a grip on over-committed voters is also helping BJP to attract those voters in BJP fold. Though TRS is also working very committed on the ground to prove its control over voters it will be interesting to see how BJP will be challenged. Sources say, Congress, a party to create the state, is also in the fray in doing its best to retain voters in their fold but the challenges are very tough. The strong appearance of TRS on the field also indicates that the honeymoon between BJP and TRS is almost over. Sources say the opposing of CAA and Kishan Bill by TRS, if any indicator, then the local body election of Hyderabad will be very interesting to watch?
