Strangely adopting a different approach BJP not to announce CM face though having CM of the party. Sources say the differences between strong man Sarma and CM, Sonowal. Sarma old hand of Congress left the party on differences with the then CM, Late Tarun Gogoi. Sarma wanted to be declared as the successor of Gogoi but Late Tarun Ji decided in favour of his son Mr Gaurav Gogoi, sources say this has been felted as an insult to him and he switched over to BJP. Sources say he became instrumental in creating goodwill for the BJP in almost all the NE states and today all the state governments are of BJP. Dream of Mr Sarma to become CM of states though not fulfilled and Sonewale became the CM, Sarma as new entrant couldn’t pressurise the BJP authorities but the situation is different this time and his claim still exists but sources say duo of the party decided to play safe and not to get any leader annoyed because the government is facing anti-incumbency factor as well as CAA, not only Muslim population is against its implementation but the Assamese are also not happy due to fear that Bangladeshi Hindus likely to get enrolled. Sources say with fear of losing the state BJP is playing very safe by keeping all the factions intact in the hope that they will get a chance to rule after elections?
