State elections of Uttarakhand are scheduled with the election of UP. Sources say, Teerath Singh Rawat was elected CM of Uttarakhand in March, presently he is MP and as per rule he will have to get himself elected for state agency within six months but sources say, state BJP nor Central leadership has so far announced any constituency from where he is to contest but Rawat's recent visit to Gangotri, sources say gives an idea that he might be a candidate from there. The seat is vacant due to the death of Gopal Rawat in April.
