The hill state-  Himachal Pradesh has an interesting political terrain/landscape where it is seen that almost in every assembly election, the political fight always remains on the edges. Sources say that this time Congress is pretty confident about forming a government in Himachal Pradesh. However, BJP is secretly watching out and busy strategizing contingency plans. If the situation spirals out, BJP would quickly shift to their famous game plan, which is being dubbed as "Contingency Plan" in Himachal Pradesh. If Congress wins then sources say there are three high-profile candidates who are said to enjoy considerable influence in Himachal Pradesh, especially in the state unit of Congress- Mukesh Agnihotri, Sukhwinder Singh Sukkhi, and Pratibha Singh. Given the unpredictable political terrain of Himachal Pradesh, it is not advisable to celebrate too early or get discouraged too early, sources say. It would be interesting to see who will celebrate and who will feel dejected on 8th December 2022.
