BJP Intelligensia did execute a well-planned blitzkrieg against AAP in this MCD election. The strategy targeted all the senior members of the party including Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia. it did manage to give some severe blows to AAP like putting Satyendra Jain behind the bars in a money laundering case and mounting intense pressure on AAP to push them on the back foot and expose their so-called welfare and development schemes which according to BJP is functioning under the garb of the well designed corrupt network, source say. Top sources in the political corridors hint that BJP's strategy did continue even after giving some initial blows to AAP to maintain the pressure- dropping Satyendra Jain Jail videos at various intervals is one example. Overall,  BJP's blitzkrieg was aimed to put out the curtains on AAP being considered a "straight arrow" party and making people aware of the ulterior motives and plans of AAP in Delhi.
