The newly appointed state president of BJP, B Y Vijayendra and ex-CM and state president of JD (S) met at Bidadi farmhouse and discussed the strategy for the coming parliamentary elections source says. It has come out that JD(S) will be given only 4 seats to contest source says. JD(S) performed very poorly in the just concluded state elections source says. The vote percentage has come down from 18.37 to 13.3 % and seats secured only 19 seats in comparison to 37 seats won in the 2018 elections source says. It seems that JD(S) is fighting for survival and to become a force to reckon with if NDA comes to power in 2024 source says.
