Coalition Politics In Bihar and BJP Tough Choices?

On the ground, tough challenges, unfavourable circumstances, anti-incumbency problems and more undesirable demands from coalition partners have created a very precarious situation for the top leaders of the BJP looking after the Bihar polls, a source says. Recently, the chief of one of the coalition partners met the BJP head stationed in Patna and demanded money to contest the election, citing that his party's funds were almost exhausted and that he needed a new source of funding for the campaign, source added. The BJP leaders angrily replied that as per the survey report available with him out of six sitting MLAs, five have yet to start the campaign and the report about their deliverances is also not good and suggested that him go village by village, door to door to convince voters as even a single seat is very important instead of trying to have a money source says.
