Yogi Adityanath expresses a strong desire for cultural unification across the region. Currently, relations with neighbouring countries such as Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Nepal are somewhat strained due to various political and historical factors, according to the source.

Diplomatic efforts are actively underway to normalise these relations as quickly as possible. During a public event celebrating the release of a new book, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh addressed an august gathering. According to a source, he stated that the imperial government intentionally divided the ancient cultural and geographical region of Aryavrat into separate nations. He further emphasised that the territories of present-day Pakistan and Bangladesh were historically part of India, and, despite political independence, these regions share a common cultural heritage and identity to some extent, according to the source.

The CM stated that unifying these countries politically is a complex challenge, but he would sincerely like to see cultural unification in the future, should the opportunity arise, the source adds. This statement has prompted a range of reactions, with some interpreting it differently depending on their perspective. Certain quarters are concerned that neighbouring countries might misconstrue his words, potentially impacting diplomatic relations. As a result, diplomatic circles have begun to strategise ways to mitigate any misunderstandings that could damage ongoing efforts to improve international cooperation source says.
